3.  Our age is catching up with us.

According to the study, people are getting married at a later age, so they are experiencing some of the sexual setbacks that age can bring earlier in their marriage.  Whether it is lower libido or aches and pains, our age can certainly affect our sex life.  But, this doesn’t mean that we just have to settle for less.  In fact, we live in a day and age where there are many medical advances that help to increase sex drive and make sex, at any age, a possibility.  If you and your partner are dealing with low libido or health issues, I encourage you both to talk to your doctor about it.  There may be some supplements or medicine that can help you.  There is no shame in this.  Sex is a beautiful way that we can connect with our spouse, and it’s important that we do whatever we can to keep the romance going strong as we age.
