We live in a world where we are used to having conversations over multiple screens and with lots of noise around us. However, in marriage, we must find a way to give each other our best undivided attention–not our leftovers. This starts with being intentional about the time we spend with one another. Be willing to put the kids to bed early so the two of you can have a coherent conversation. Plan a regular date night together so that you can reconnect and just be the two of you again. And, whenever the two of you are together, put the cell phones and other devices away so you’re not distracted by them. Do whatever you can to give your wife you BEST attention, and you will surely bring out her BEST attention as well.
