4 Ways to Get Your Wife IN THE MOOD…and it’s not what you think

4 Ways to Get Your Wife IN THE MOOD…and it’s not what you think 2017-11-08T13:07:07-04:00 Ashley Willis

Take something off her to-do list.

4.  Take something off her to-do list.

As stated before, women view and think about sex differently than men.  I’ve heard it said that if our minds were computers the men would only have one window open at a time, and the women would have multiple windows open all over the screen at one time.  This resonated with me, and I think it is spot on.

Most women have a to-do list on their minds throughout the day.  When a task is completed, we mentally close that window.  If it’s not finished, it stays open.  Sadly, sex often becomes one of these windows.  We want it, but it’s hard for us to get in the mood with so many things to do.

As wives, we need to resist the temptation to make sex with our husbands just another “to-do” on our list.  It’s so much more than that, and it’s so important to the health of our marriage.  However, I do think husbands can certainly play a role in taking some things off of our list.

My husband has said, “Wives always think their husbands are attractive, but they think he is smokin’ hot in those rare moments when he is doing the dishes and folding laundry.”  I couldn’t agree more.  When you are in the beautiful trenches of raising kids, the to-do list is astounding.  And, it’s awesome to have an active, helpful partner beside you, so you can navigate your long list of tasks together.

When we don’t feel bogged down by our to-do list, our minds are freed up to think about awesome things like romance and intimacy.  So, Husbands, please lend a hand, and know that you aren’t just checking something off the list–you are romancing your wife with some amazing”chore-play”.

For more honest talk and practical advice on how to spice things up in the bedroom, check out our video resource “Best Sex Life Now”, by clicking here.

Also, I’d love to connect with you on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.  Thanks so much for reading, responding, and sharing.  Be blessed!
