As August begins, I am looking forward to this new month at Approaching Justice.

This month, I have the goal of breaking 25,000 page views for the first time.

August is also our first full month in Las Vegas. We are loving our new home and I hope to do some more writing about our experiences. I also plan on doing some theoretical/cultural/philosophical/theological musings on Sin City.

August is also going to be important for Approaching Justice. August 2013 will be the first quarterly subscription drive here at Approaching Justice.

We are heading into the new school year. For the first time in almost a decade, this Fall does not see me returning full-time to the classroom. Instead, I am focusing on my writing projects with Approaching Justice serving as the hub of all of those projects.

To make this work, I need your support! I am asking my readers, friends, supporters, and family to either subscribe to Approaching Justice by signing up to make a $2 monthly payment or to make a one-time donation of any amount during the drive.

By supporting Approaching Justice, you will be supporting commentary, reflection, and discussion of faith, religion, politics and social justice.
