I\u2019ve been embarrassingly silent about something I care a lot about: Palestine. The other day, I told someone that I wanted to stay as away as possible from the current events for my own mental health because of all the things that have been going on. However, it would be irresponsible on my part not to say at least something<\/em> about it, I would be a hypocrite and would be lying to myself, trying to stay silent about something as serious as the horrors Palestinians are experiencing.<\/p>\n

It should be unsurprising that I, coming from a Syrian family, stand with Palestine. I\u2019ve always have. I\u2019m not a expert on the topic, I don\u2019t have all the answers, but I do not need either of those two to know that what Israel<\/del> Jewish Extremist Terrorists<\/em><\/a>, Zionist being part of them, has been doing for decades is inhuman, ethnically cleansing a whole country that was there before way long before they decided to found a new country.<\/p>\n
