It’s been a few months since a new episode of Heretic Happy Hour has released.

But now, the wait is nearly over! And things couldn’t be more exciting for this podcast. Here’s how we describe it in a recent press release:

Chico, CA, April 30, 2024 – The Heretic Happy Hour Podcast is thrilled to announce its relaunch on May 7th, 2024, with an all-new weekly panel format that promises to challenge, inspire, and entertain listeners. Hosted by a diverse range of voices, the podcast will launch with panelists discussing topics such as “White Christian Nationalism,” “The Bible and Politics,” and “Virtue Without Faith” with a fresh perspective.

For the last 7 years, The Heretic Happy Hour Podcast has been a favorite among listeners seeking engaging conversations that push the boundaries of traditional religious discourse. Now, with its relaunch, the show is taking things to the next level by introducing a dynamic panel format featuring some of the most prominent voices in theology, activism, and entertainment.

Now, here comes the most exciting part. The panel members that will be joining us are among the most incredible people you could ever imagine. Again, here’s the press release:

Rainn Wilson: Emmy-nominated actor and founder of SoulPancake.

John Fugelsang: Actor, comedian, and host of SiriusXM’s “Tell Me Everything.”

Shane Claiborne: Bestselling author, activist, and founder of The Simple Way community.

Flamy Grant: Award-winning, Billboard-charting drag queen musician.

Lisa Sharon Harper: Speaker, writer, and president of Freedom Road.

David Bentley Hart: Philosopher, theologian, and author of numerous books on theology and culture.

Elaine Pagels: Historian of religion and author of “The Gnostic Gospels.”

Candida Moss: Professor of theology and author specializing in early Christianity and New Testament studies.

David Hayward: Artist, writer, and creator of the popular Naked Pastor blog.

Eve_WasFramed: Social media influencer and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and religious reform.

Laci Bean: TikTok/Instagram influencer and certified trauma recovery coach.

And many more!

What’s even better, is that in addition to the regular Tuesday show, we’ll have bonus shows on Fridays and Sundays, where we recap the main show, as well as that week’s biggest stories that intersect between faith and politics.

So, join us starting May 7, and make sure to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts! We’ll see you soon!
