Last updated on: March 26, 2014 at 9:29 pm   By Aine Llewellyn

Called Black Court, the Clarene's faeries are in charge of protection and cultivation of the West. Smartly suited and slickly dressed, her faeries are mathematicians, scientists, teachers, libriarians. They help her tend the trees and flowers. Ranging from giants to mice, the Court is expansive, their handy skills keeping the West – and the faith – in order. Read more

As I mentioned in the 'Holy Houses & Faery Courts' post, families in the Otherfaith are made through adopted rather than birth. So while her mother had no other children, the Clarene does have siblings. Read more

Update

Last updated on: March 18, 2014 at 3:19 pm   By Aine Llewellyn

I’ve been very busy lately, hence why I haven’t updated. I am still working on the 30 Days of Devotion, as well as the polytheist meme. School, and my 21st birthday, and working on having a mundane life have all caught me up in a storm. Over on my WordPress blog, however, I posted up an essay I did for one of my classes.  We were meant to explore an experience that changed something in our lives, and I decided... Read more

Basics: the Clarene (Myths)

Last updated on: March 13, 2014 at 12:46 am   By Aine Llewellyn

he Clarene is our god of stories and books, and whether directly stated or not, she is present in all the stories of the West. Her stories are inevitably some of my favorite to write. She is passionate, fiery, sexy, powerful, and fun. She is in love with love and in love with life. Even in stories of sadness, I find great strength. Read more

She is rooted, with her taking on cloven feet or even centaur appearance. She is close to the land that she cares for. But she is not barred from the sky – she is the creator of spaceships. Read more

Basics: the Clarene (Masterpost)

Last updated on: May 14, 2014 at 12:05 am   By Aine Llewellyn

On the most superficial level, the Clarene is a god of comfort, romanticized harvests, and endless support. She is the Ideal Mother. But that is only in the most shallow of interpretations, and even laity in the faith delve deeper into her than that. Read more

Monday Tarot: Ace of Pentacles

Last updated on: March 4, 2014 at 1:37 pm   By Aine Llewellyn

Today’s post is late since yesterday was spent doing Tarot readings that people had ordered. (A good reason for a Tarot post to be late, I think.) * Every Monday I will do a quick one-card draw from one of my Tarot (or oracle) decks and interpret the card.
