Four Gods of the Otherfaith
Last updated on: June 11, 2013 at 8:37 pm By Aine Llewellyn
[This post will also be a separate page on this blog, for easy access. It can be found here.] Finally, a long-needed post about the Four Gods that currently rule my life. This post is meant to explain the role each of these gods has within their own deity-family as well as their relation to us. I’ll list epithets as well. This month I’ll be exploring these gods more in-depth here at Patheos. After all, this is a huge portion... Read more

Small Spirits: Preparation
Last updated on: February 7, 2014 at 1:54 pm By Aine Llewellyn
Before we even pour out our first offering to the faeries, we need to go over some basics. Everything I do starts from the standpoint that the spirits are autonomous and equal or greater than us. Both of those beliefs influence how I work. Read more

the Dierne teaches us that our self-worth comes from within. He is a good King because he is complete within himself. This ties into my readings on sacred Kingship and its connection to the land. The King is the sacred land. If he is healthy, the land is healthy. There can be excess and indulgence because the core, the foundation, is stable and unwavering. Read more

the Clarene + choice
Last updated on: May 29, 2013 at 7:30 am By Aine Llewellyn
I finished the second page of a devotional scrapbook I’m working on. I know nothing about scrapbooking; this is merely my first attempt at grasping a craft I can use for the spirits. An immanent faith does not shame pretty keepsakes, right? Read more

briefly: Cleansing
Last updated on: May 29, 2013 at 1:22 pm By Aine Llewellyn
Sundays are cleaning and cleansing days in my house. I clear off all the offerings and incense and wipe down the shrines. I go through my sacred items and decide which will be in storage or left out. Vacuuming and sweeping is done, and if I've had an especially tough week I'll dab water on the doorways and burn stronger incense. Sundays are days for reviewing my space and myself. Read more

net practices: Sharing & Assumptions
Last updated on: May 24, 2013 at 8:48 am By Aine Llewellyn
It should go without saying that I don't write about all my practices. Not publicly, at least. There's plenty I don't share, either because I don't have the time to write it up (because I'm busy doing it) or because it can't be shared. But that doesn't mean that my life isn't soaked in devotional acts. Read more

A Few Points
Last updated on: May 21, 2013 at 5:17 am By Aine Llewellyn
While some people believe thought-forms are only ever in the control of their creator, my experience and the experiences of people I know and trust have all shown that to not be the case. Autonomy and independence are possible. Read more

Fear is Not the Goal
Last updated on: May 20, 2013 at 12:01 pm By Aine Llewellyn
I don’t get on my knees for my spirits because of fear. I get down on them because of trust. Read more

Redux Rant on Belief
Last updated on: May 15, 2013 at 6:16 am By Aine Llewellyn
There’s this silly idea that somehow if you believe in gods and spirits you must believe in them without any doubt or discernment. Again, no. Belief doesn’t cancel out thought, as much as some people might claim it does Read more
