Keep Calm …. August is Almost Here

Last updated on: July 31, 2012 at 8:32 am By Kristy Robinett

Who had an awful, or awful crazy, July? Me! Me! Me! I would love to blame it on Mercury Retrograde or the planets, but I think it comes down to that the Universe is in a shift, and the majority of people just don’t like change. You turn on the television or radio, and most all are complaining, or airing the worst of the worst stories. Cities are going bankrupt. Friends and families are losing their jobs and houses. Even... A New Path – A New Journey

Last updated on: July 24, 2012 at 7:35 am By Kristy Robinett

There is a Chinese Proverb that says “To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping”. Those first steps can be frightening and confusing especially if you aren’t sure which direction to go. It is so much easier to bury ourselves in self loathing and excuses, but is far from attractive. In January, I set these goals for 2012: My Best Year Ever Spend quality time with... Read more

I Believe…

Last updated on: July 23, 2012 at 6:24 am By Kristy Robinett

In being honest with yourself, and to others. Always. That sleep helps heal our body, mind and spirit. In good books, especially the old fashioned kind with actual pages. In a good belly laugh. In having tea in pretty teacups. In wearing pearls with jeans and a t-shirt. That one man’s junk is another’s treasure. That there is good in people, even when the news shows otherwise. That learning and exploring never gets old, and that it doesn’t necessarily have to take... Read more

Metaphysical Mayhem

Last updated on: July 22, 2012 at 8:16 am By Kristy Robinett

It was reported on July 21st that during motivational speaker Tony Robbin’s event several people were treated for burns to the soles of their feet after attempting to walk on fire, an event called Firewalking. Participation wasn’t mandated, and Robbin’s camp states that for decades the Firewalk had been part of their life events. Firewalks have been around for centuries and it is used to test strength and courage. It is also used to test one’s faith in a deity... Read more

Treasures

Last updated on: July 20, 2012 at 7:17 pm By Kristy Robinett

Riches do not consist in the possession of treasures, but in the use made of them. Napoleon Bonaparte Whenever I conduct a séance or a gallery reading, I honestly never know what to expect, so I expect the unexpected and it seems that our loved ones on the Other Side like that best anyhow. Last week’s séance was no different. As three participants sat down at the tipping table, I closed my eyes and called on their loved ones to... Read more

Premonitions – No Ordinary Dream

Last updated on: July 18, 2012 at 6:23 pm By Kristy Robinett

Premonitions are not merely ordinary dreams, but instead a forewarning of what is to come. Are you listening? Pay Attention to Your Dreams. They May Be Visions of the Future. What is a Premonition? A premonition is a forewarning of something that is going to happen before it does without having any concrete evidence to support it. Premonitions can come in many different forms; dreams/nightmares, messages from spirits, intuition (that gut feeling) in the waking state and automatic writing. Premonitions... Read more

Mercury Retrograde: An Excuse When Everything Goes Wrong?

Last updated on: June 29, 2013 at 7:15 am By Kristy Robinett

You will often see Astrologers and even Psychics cringe and then sigh when Mercury Retrograde is mentioned, and those around raise an eyebrow and ask what the inside news is. Mercury Retrograde occurs three times a year, and lasts for several weeks during each time period. It is said that Mercury Retrograde goes backwards, or takes a vacation. Mercury is ruled by communication, so anything with communication, contracts and legal obligations can and often does go haywire. The easiest way... Read more

Getting That Job is an INSIDE Job

Last updated on: July 15, 2012 at 6:23 pm By Kristy Robinett

We are each born with our own individual vibration which sends signals out to others of like vibrations. Those signals either attract or dismiss situations, events and even people. As we go through life experience, both good and bad, we sometimes become out of sync with our unique signal, such as a radio between stations. The signal is strong when we move into a harmonic place, but once we allow fears or negativity to invade, the signal is reduced. It... Read more

What Matters

Last updated on: July 12, 2012 at 2:27 pm By Kristy Robinett

“Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe I sat in the waiting room. All I wanted to do was think of anything other than my dad lying in the emergency room, trauma area, awaiting the results. Was it a heart attack or wasn’t it? The daytime talk show blasting on the waiting room television only grated on my nerves like a piece of sandpaper against my skin. I... Read more

Everyday Magick

Last updated on: July 11, 2012 at 6:01 pm By Kristy Robinett

“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.” Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden The Dragonfly The grass was still wet from the morning dew even though the sun had been shining for several hours. Freshly turned dirt lay plastered to her right cheek as the tears moistened the soil into mud. She knew that she must’ve looked like a mess, but didn’t much care. Her cotton paisley printed dress didn’t do much... Read more
