Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
Today, although the day lends itself to beautiful newness, the energy is heavy, filled with emotion and melancholy. I’m often guided to just be still and believe that the gaps will just fill in with answers for my soul. The leaves don’t wonder if they’ll change, fall, and re-bloom. Maybe we shouldn’t spend our time worrying with wonder either. Using your intuition choose a card that “speaks” into your silence.
Which card feels like yours?
.
.
If you chose #1 your card is the KNIGHT OF PENTACLES. The Knight of Pentacles appearing suggests you are now ready to move up in your life, whether career or self-fulfillment. You have met and probably exceeded your short terms goals. The future beckons and it is time to move forward onto the medium and long term goals. You may be seeking promotion or embarking on a course of study or action that will result in higher qualifications, rank and status. In this Knight we see the emerging and maturing business professional. You are on your way to the top once you keep up the level of work, effort and consistency. You have set the bar to quite a high level and are quite determined to reach it. Even if you are growing weary and tempted to quit, this Knight beckons you to keep at it, keep grinding away at it and you will eventually see success. Keep your promises and stay true to your commitments.
If you chose #2 your card is STRENGTH – The fears that seize us in the wee hours are the most debilitating. Exhaustion and vulnerability gnaw at the spirit. If you chose this card you are being told that you are caught in a cycle of fear, not sure what is presumed nightmares and fears and what is truly happening. Although most people experience fear, frustration and uncertainty at some point in their lives, you should not allow those negative emotions to immobilize you or keep you from pursuing your goals with enthusiasm and hope. Expect at least some level of uncertainty in the future, and draw upon your inner strength to remain as flexible and adaptable to that uncertainty as possible. It is time to calm yourself, release the past by learning those lessons, and beginning again with new goals and allowing new opportunities. You are stronger, smarter, and more worthy than you give yourself credit. There’s several messages with this card. The first is that there is a vacation that you have to get on the books. Be careful of seasonal depression, even, so if you can find some sunshine through the iciness it would most benefit you. The last message is that last summer was a pivotal time for you – what did you learn?
If you chose #3 your card is JUSTICE and it deals with the idea of karma and the law of cause and effect, stating that all events, and all people, are connected. It’s important to remember that not everything you are dealing with, however, is a direct result of your own actions or karma. Sometimes you will be called upon to deal with the results of the actions of someone you care about, and this can sometimes be as difficult and demanding as it is when you’re up against something that is completely of your own making. Don’t blame yourself unnecessarily.
This card evokes the need for fairness, balance, and harmony. Operate in as balanced and reasonable a fashion as you can. This includes in how you think about and treat yourself. If you are directly involved with a court case, it is likely to be resolved, at least in large degree, in your favor.
You need to be sure that your work/life balance is where it needs to be. Too much emphasis on either throws the other into balance. For most people, one or the other comes more easily to us; be sure that regardless of which field (personal life or work) you feel most comfortable in, that you are giving the other part of life as much attention and energy. Balance is necessary in order to thrive.
Justice is associated with Libra and Libra energy symbolizes inner balance. Are your inner feminine and masculine sides working together? Do you want to be completely independent on the one hand, yet surrender to love on the other? Libra energy reminds you that only when your intentions aren’t sabotaged by your own emotional battles, you get what you want.
If you chose #4 your card is PAGE OF CUPS. The Page of Cups indicates news in business, or the start of a new creative project or adventure. This card’s meaning encourages you to be intuitive and act of a hunch. Trust your gut reactions and your dreams when it comes to events in your life.
You are sensitive, creative, emotionally resourceful, affectionate, tender and loyal. You are ruled by the desire to transform.
Most of the time, the Page of Cups brings a positive message or good news from your loved ones here and love from the other side.
You are going to be receiving help in what is worrying you, and much in the form of cooperative energy. This is going to be an energy which moves you past the relatively emotional and young form of possessiveness or jealousy, even manipulation and you have begun to master the capacity to offer a level of loyalty. You aren’t really interested in the ways of the youth, the drama of what you used to experience with petty people and experiences. You are in a space of desiring to be clear of all of that, and the Page of Cups is allowing you to have that. What you must do right first is examine what it is that you get out of the petty drama that surrounds you, and then once you have been able to identify it, let it go because you have more work to do. You must begin now cutting those out of your life that are causing you to still deal with that kind of drama. When you have cut them out, your life will be more relaxed and you will be able to feel as though you truly have evolved from childlike things.
