Today’s Energy – On Wednesday, April 26, 8:16 am – EDST we welcome the New Moon in the sign of TAURUS. Taurus energy is all about hard work and reliability. This energy takes work, financial situations and life very seriously and puts a lot of pressure on themselves. This energy likes the nicer things in life and will take the extra effort to make sure to afford that. Often practical and pragmatic (sometimes to a fault), Taurus’ just doesn’t play well with stupid people or those who lack common sense. And especially has a lack of tolerance around those who don’t pull their weight. So even though you might not be a Taurus, we embrace the energy of the sign and in turn take on aspects of that sign. We all have intuition but we don’t always listen. New and Full Moons are a great time to take some quiet time and ask your guides what you need to know and then choose an Oracle card. Below are several cards and all you need to do is clear your mind and choose the card that most “speaks” to you. Which one is it?

If you chose #1 – THE UNENDING SADNESS OF LOOKING BACK – Your focus on the pain of the past increases its power. Let it go. This early life-form wishes you to know that it belongs in the past – it does not want to be re-created again and again and again. It does not have any desire to be the source of your pain. You are giving your energy, your breath, your own life to the existence of one who makes no demands on you. The past has hurt you, indeed. But it is long gone. The harm you suffer from now is by your own hand. You hold the very knife that is inflicting the thousand cuts. Put it down.

The shadow of the past is feeding off your energy, becoming a living thing, when its time has long passed and it no longer belongs with you. You are offering yourself to the past as a victim, nursing pain and being suffocated. Represented by this ancient trilobite, the being you have created from the past, who wants to be a fossil but whom you insist on bringing to life, your true self wants only to be free and to be allowed to evolve and change. For your own sake, you must allow the past to fade so the wound can heal, so the scar can knit and become a mark of power. You can do this.

If you chose #2 – NEW MOON – Promise – At this important time, you must surround yourself with like-minded and supportive people. If you have people in your life who don’t support you fully, take a gentle step back from them for now, in your own best interest. You must not be swayed off course right now by people who would like to see you do what they want you to do, you must follow your heart and your dreams. If this is someone very close to you, a spouse or parent, just be mindful of speaking about your dreams; write them down instead. Sometimes we feel that we need to justify ourselves, or seek the approval of those closest to us; this is not one of those times. Trust yourself and trust the Divine, this is an important turning point in your life and you are about to break out of your cocoon and spread your wings. No one but you and your angels and Universe can help you with that! Use affirmations to fill in any gaps in your self confidence; you’ve got this, and you are going to be amazing!

If you chose #3 – RELEASE AND SURRENDER – The angels bring this card to you because you’ve been trying to fix this situation single-handedly. They’d love to help you and answer your prayers, but first you need to surrender and release the situation. Surrender simply means that you’re tired of struggling. It means emotionally letting go, with faith that the Divine wisdom of Spirit (which includes your higher self) can do a better job. Surrender doesn’t mean that you’re giving up or that you want to be controlled. Through surrender, you’ll be assured of a better outcome. If you need help with surrender, ask the angels to assist you. When you hold on tightly to a part of your life that’s not working, it has no room to heal. Whether you’re unhappy with your love life, finances, career, home, or health, this card asks you to let go. If you hang on to these aspects of your life because of fears such as “What if I can’t find someone or something better?” then the situation will only worsen.

However, if you’re willing to open your hands and allow the situation to be freed, one of two situations will occur: Either it will be washed away from you and replaced by a better situation, or the situation will heal in a miraculous way. By drawing this card, the angels ask you to try not to control the outcome of your troubling situation. Let go, and let the Universe, others on the other side, and those here help you!

If you chose #4 – CURIOSITY – Are you curious? Do you wonder about things? Are there classes you’ve always wanted to take but haven’t for some reason? Is there something you’ve always wanted to know, discover, or explore? Your curiosity is like a road map that helps you know your soul’s preferred direction. You’re naturally curious about areas of life that are related to your Divine mission (which is the big reason why you came to Earth). Watch your thoughts and actions to get a better sense of where your curiosity lies. Notice any topics that really excite you. Observe what you do in your spare time. Watch what grabs your attention about other people. close friends and family members can also offer their observations about your areas of curiosity.

Curiosity is a means to point you in the direction of life mission. It’ a “Pay close attention to those things that you are curious about, that grab your attention or that you are passionate about learning more about. These things are related to your Divine Life Purpose and are very important!”

Feeding your curiosity, allowing yourself to learn even if it’s just for the same of learning or indulging an interest or passion you have, feeds your soul. It allows you to connect with the Divine creative source – with your Creator! It gives voice to your spirit and allows you to become the true YOU!

If you chose #5 – THE MERMAID OF IMMERSION – It has come time to completely involve yourself – you have been holding back, only going so far with a new project or with a commitment to yourself, always pulling back at the last moment from taking the step. You are holding a part of yourself back, watching, judging, always assessing whether this is right or wrong. You are surrounding yourself with what you consider to be protection and what humans call buffer zones. And you claim you want to change! You claim you wish to understand! You claim you wish to have this done!

If this is true, then the time has come to take a deep breath, dive off the edge of the cliff, and immerse yourself fully in the waters of change. The time has come to remove the buffer zones.
