Below are 5 cards from one of Doreen Virtue’s Oracle Deck. The backs are all the same, but by using your intuition, choose one of the cards that calls most to you. Take a deep breathe in and out. Don’t second guess yourself – just choose.

We all have intuition. Every single one of us. Intuition comes from within us, around us and from past experiences. It is supposed to teach us what to do and where to go and who to trust even if you don’t have the complete road map in front of you. It is that turn-by-turn direction that we all have, but we doubt and create false scenarios in our head, especially if there is a lot of grey around us. It makes it easier to point fingers at others than to own the burden of responsibility. And yet when we get burned, we punish ourselves because we knew. When a knowing can’t be explained, we instead attempt to rationalize it.

And so people go to see mediums, psychics and life coaches to validate the knowing. Most all of the time my clients don’t need me. Yes, I said it. They don’t. They merely need to trust that their inner GPS is synced and giving them correct directions, yet hearing it from another source helps to inspire and (as I mentioned above) lessons some of the responsibility through the decisions. I become the scapegoat. And it’s okay because I don’t own that anymore. I used to, but I discovered that I have my own decisions to make in life. We each have free will. We each have free choice. The choice is up to you to embrace your knowing, but it is also your choice to follow through on your knowing.

It is easy to point fingers and blame others for the situation you are in. But maturity and responsibility is what helps you live a fulfilled life. You give up your own power pointing fingers and ducking responsibility. We’ve all gone through tough times and tough people. And we have the ability to choose who we spend our time on, our money on and our love on. So if you want to change any affliction, look at yourself because it is that which you can change. You can reap thorns or you can reap fruit. The chose is yours.

By trusting your own intuition, taking the advice and following through on the actions – you will be amazed by your life outcome with more fulfillment in all areas. Sure, it isn’t easy, but well worth it in the end. Aren’t you worth that? Aren’t you worth starting a new month by embracing you and your knowing? Aren’t you worth starting a new year by embracing your knowing? I think you are!

YOUR CARDS:

If you chose #1 – Opportunity to Forgive – The angels sent you this card because they see that you’ve grown weary of a recurring negative pattern in your life. To break this cycle, it’s important for you to release old toxic thoughts about the current situation and relationship. You can do this by breathing deeply, and on each exhalation, giving your fears, worries, anger, and other painful emotions to the angels. Forgiveness doesn’t mean that you are condoning the other person’s behavior. It just means that you’re unwilling to carry toxic feelings and thoughts about him or her. Release, be free, and experience positive patterns through forgiveness.Additional meanings for this card: Avoiding blaming yourself or others • As you release anger, a creative resolution to this situation will appear • There are hidden blessings in this relationship and situation • Focus upon desires instead of fears or judgments.

If you chose #2 – Shower of Abundance – This card is a sign that your prayers about finances have been heard and answered. The more you can listen to and follow your gut feelings right now, the quicker you’ll experience improvements in your financial situation.Additional meanings for this card: The coins that you’re finding lately are loving signs from your angels and departed loved ones • An unexpected financial windfall is coming to you • Give any financial fears to your angels • Follow any guidance you receive, as it could be an answered prayer about your finances • Abundance can take many forms, including having more time, opportunities, or clear ideas.

If you chose #3 – Joy – You drew this card as a reminder that your power comes from staying centered in a feeling of joy. Ask your angels for guidance about any changes you can make to bring more joy into your life and the lives of others. If you’re feeling trapped or victimized in any way, the angels can ease your burdens. A joyful outlook brings the freedom you desire, while your responsibilities are simultaneously met. Additional meanings for this card: Release or heal any parts of your life that aren’t joyful • The answer to your question involves choosing the route that brings you the most joy • Release fears while manifesting, and instead focus on feeling the joy as if your desire were already a reality.

If you chose #4 – Daydream – The angels sent you this card because they wish you to be open and receptive to new ideas. It’s important for you to engage in daydreaming now as a way to receive inspiration and wonderful ideas. Don’t try to make anything happen. Just follow the trail of your thoughts naturally, as they flow into new ways of looking at things. Write your ideas in a special journal and ask your angels for guidance on which action steps to take to enact these dreams. Take action without delay where you’re guided. Additional meanings for this card: Be open to new possibilities • Allow yourself to dream big • Give yourself permission to relax and let go • Try something new that you’ve always wanted to do • Brainstorm with yourself or others for new ideas.

If you chose #5 – Life Purpose – “This card comes as a reminder that you needn’t struggle to find your life purpose. Don’t worry about how to make good money in a meaningful career. Don’t concern yourself with quitting or starting jobs or professions. Instead, follow the path of your natural desires, talents, and passions with the full intention of bringing joy to yourself and others. Your life purpose doesn’t need to be defined or pinpointed. It’s a process, not a category.

Additional meanings for this card: Give all worries about money or career to God and the angels • You’re on the right path toward your life’s purpose • Focus on one step at a time with respect to your life’s purpose, and release fears about the future to the angels • What you’re doing right now is part of your life’s purpose.”

Sometimes the meanings of the cards don’t make sense immediately. Let it sit with you for a bit before discounting it.
