Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
Take some deep breathes and ask your angels and guides what message you need to know to help you along your path, and choose a number. Below is the meaning of your chosen card.
We all have intuition. Every single one of us. It doesn’t mean that you have to hang up a flashy ‘Psychic’ sign on your office door, but you can if you want. Intuition comes from within us, around us and from past experiences. It is supposed to teach us what to do and where to go and who to trust even if you don’t have the complete road map in front of you. It is that turn-by-turn direction that we all have, but we doubt and create false scenarios in our head, especially if there is a lot of grey around us. It makes it easier to point fingers at others than to own the burden of responsibility. And yet when we get burned, we punish ourselves because we knew. When a knowing can’t be explained, we instead attempt to rationalize it.
And so people go to see mediums, psychics and life coaches to validate the knowing. Most all of the time my clients don’t need me. Yes, I said it. They don’t. They merely need to trust that their inner GPS is synced and giving them correct directions, yet hearing it from another source helps to inspire and (as I mentioned above) lessons some of the responsibility through the decisions. I become the scapegoat. And it’s okay because I don’t own that anymore. I used to, but I discovered that I have my own decisions to make in life. We each have free will. We each have free choice. The choice is up to you to embrace your knowing, but it is also your choice to follow through on your knowing.
It is easy to point fingers and blame others for the situation you are in. But maturity and responsibility is what helps you live a fulfilled life. You give up your own power pointing fingers and ducking responsibility. We’ve all gone through tough times and tough people. And we have the ability to choose who we spend our time on, our money on and our love on. So if you want to change any affliction, look at yourself because it is that which you can change. You can reap thorns or you can reap fruit. The chose is yours.
By trusting your own intuition, taking the advice and following through on the actions – you will be amazed by your life outcome with more fulfillment in all areas. Sure, it isn’t easy, but well worth it in the end. Aren’t you worth that? Aren’t you worth starting a new month by embracing you and your knowing? Aren’t you worth starting a new year by embracing your knowing? I think you are!
If you chose #1 you chose THE WORLD
The World signifies completion, achievement and fulfilment. You’ve worked hard and you are about to see the results of that hard work. With this comes closure and then change and new beginnings. Often times THE WORLD is shown when there is a celebration of sorts – marriage, birth of a child, graduation, promotion, etc. It’s a sign of new beginnings that you’ve wished for and you’ve worked for.
The World also represents travel that could indeed be life changing. You may not be aware how, but it will be. And it doesn’t have to be long distance travel, just travel nonetheless. So often we get caught up in a rut and by adventuring outside our comfort zone, we cleanse our soul for fresh ideas.
AFFIRMATION: I’m open to new experiences and new beginnings.
If you chose #2 you chose NINE OF PENTACLES
You are a super hard worker, but you are ready for a bit of a break. You are allowed to treat yourself to a day off, a massage, or whatever tickles your fancy. Life hasn’t exactly been easy, but that hasn’t scared you, In fact it’s made you pretty darn strong! You just need to remember that you can’t be a superhero all the time. And even superheroes take a day off to rest and relax. Yes, that project may be looming, and you aren’t being lazy by taking a breather.
Nine of Pentacles also means that there will be a prosperity increase coming within the next few months. The resources for this are all around you, just stay aware.
AFFIRMATION: I reap rewards of prosperity easily and effortlessly.
If you chose #3 you chose TWO OF SWORDS
Choices and change are often hard, aren’t they? Well, you’ve been sitting on a decision for a while and are afraid to make any decision. The stagnation is just as paralyzing as the decision making. You can only hide away the ‘dead body’ for so long before it starts stinking. Pretending never helped anything. So, your guides and angels ask that you start to look at what you’ve been putting off and start to take (maybe even baby) steps towards the change. It could be that you need more information and if so, go get it. You might even need someone to offer another point of view. But ultimately it is your conflict, your decision and your outcome. The sore always hurts when you take the bandage off slow. Once you’ve sought out some professional advice, then it is time to dive in and you will find that you will be in a better position than you’ve been in a long run.
AFFIRMATION: I feel safe and confident in making decisions.
If you chose #4 you chose WHEEL OF FORTUNE
The Wheel of Fortune refers to the fact that things tend to go in cycles. There are good times and there are bad times. The lesson of the Wheel of Fortune is that you must accept that there are always ups and downs in life. If you were to have only good times, you would become less appreciative of what you have. Sometimes the bad times provide the contrast and perspective. Your guides ask that you keep optimistic and use meditation and visualization because they’re worried that you’ve been feeling sad and down. They aren’t sure exactly what you want because you haven’t quite been yourself, so get more decisive about it.
The Wheel also represents karma and reminds you that ‘what goes around comes around’ and it shows that as long as you stay positive and put out good energy, you will be blessed with the same. You don’t always see the karma happen, and it is often not your job to witness it, so just walk your own path.
AFFIRMATION: Through all the changes that the Universe brings, I feel stable and centered.
