An early Harvest Moon, on Monday, September 8th we welcome the Full Moon.

This moon is in the sign of Pisces, which means that emotions will run high the next couple days. This moon is called the Harvest Moon as farmers in the past would use the moon as their means to light their way through the fields for their final harvest. It is also said that this moon is used by the birds as a sign to begin their migrate, which makes for some great bird watching.

This moon may play with your inner confidence in all areas of your life, and you may find yourself more anxious. Pisces, a creative sign, it’s best to spend the next couple days indulging in solo activities. With all full moons you are more likely to see crazy around you and within you.

Harness this moon’s energy by:

Spend time daydreaming
Reading
Take a bubble bath
Write
Clean up the gardens
Find some creative project to do.
Journaling is beneficial during this time. Write down all the things you want to rid out of your life and then rip up or burn those papers so not to give anymore energy to the negative.
Go back and re-read your wish list from your New Moons and reaffirm them.
Make wishes upon this Full Moon
Release your fears that they can’t or won’t come true.
You might feel unsupported and lonely, but you have to push through that with this moon.
Cry if you have to.
Be careful of speaking your mind as it could be unsettled energies that don’t bare the whole truth.

A Pisces Full Moon is also about healing. If you’ve been ill or injured and have been putting off seeking medical attention, now is the time. The same goes for any emotional residue that you’ve lugging around. A Harvest Moon is about clearing and preparing for the future. NOW is YOUR time!
