Sweet April showers do spring May flowers

April brings about something different for each sign, from passion, to job opportunities and even pregnancy announcements. As we shed the winter’s coat, we are also shedding the energy and uck that has left so many feeling sad, lonely and vulnerable. Just know that with each seed planted, fertilized and watered, brings new opportunities for blooms. It is your choice what you want to grow, or not grow.

Aries – March 21 – April 19

April is a great month for you, Aries, and it as if you can do no wrong.

If you aren’t in a relationship, then this is a fabulous month for you to put yourself out there as your energy is seductive and vibrant, especially the first week of April. The planet of love, Venus, encourages love and understanding for you and around you. Past hurts begin to fade away this month, and you take on a new outlook.

If you are in a relationship, this is a great month to spend some couple time, even if it is just cuddling on the couch with your favorite movie or dusting off your bicycles and finding a quaint park to ride around in.

There may be an unexpected career opportunity that arises mid-April that will make you feel unsettled. Hold tight, as everything will come together by the end of April and you will be feeling steady once more.

Taurus – April 20 – May 20

If Easter weekend had you feeling blue or feeling as if your partner wasn’t paying attention to your needs, don’t blow things out of proportion and stomp off just yet, Taurus. Things have been tough for you the last couple months and there are life lessons surrounding this. Are you receiving the messages loud and clear or are you pushing it under the rug? Depending upon how much you receive and then let go will determine how well the remainder of the year goes, Taurus.

On April 14th when the planet of love, Venus, shows up for the party, there is great potential for both those single and in relationships to make their love life heat up. It is time to take some initiative, though, with love. The shyness sometimes gets in the way (yes, you, Taurus!), so let your hair down and take some chances.

Those born under Taurus seem to gel better in love when their work lives are under control and Venus will be assisting in that too. There may be some major decisions you have to make that could include a new job opportunity, and possibly even one out of state. Just listen to your heart, Taurus, and you won’t go wrong.

Gemini – May 21 – June 20

April begins with social networking being a top priority, and not just in business, but in love too. If you are single it is now time to mingle. The first week of April is a prime time for you to get on a matchmaking site and start setting up those dates, or simply pretty yourself up and go out on the town – every.single.night for the first two weeks of April. You may not meet your normal type, but love is in the air for you, Gemini, and the moon and stars may know more about your type than you do! It could possibly even be someone that you already know, or someone that you know knows. For those in a relationship, love will be super spicy. Spend time reuniting with one another in a sexy and intimate way. The end of April isn’t as intense as the beginning, but don’t worry because the fire that you start will continue as long as you keep stoking it.

The end of April brings some chance meetings that could lead to investment opportunities and/or business opportunities. It might not yet be the time to sign on the dotted lines, but it is something to seriously think about doing.

Cancer – June 21 – July 22

This month is much more about career than it is love and relationships, Cancer. Now that doesn’t mean that there can’t be a love interest that pops up, but it could mean that you are too distracted to even see it happen. There are some major career opportunities that arise which will get you noticed, and by the end of June there could be an added bonus to your paycheck, so keep it up!

Because of the stresses at work, make sure that you try to balance everything and remove yourself too much your current love interest. And if you aren’t in a relationship, it is a great time to buy a few new sexy, but tasteful, outfits and go out for lunch because you there is a good chance you can snag yourself a date for the end of the month when things begin to calm down.

Leo – July 23 – August 22

There is only one word that describes this month for you, Leo, and that is PASSION. This is relevant with both love and career. You are no stranger to strutting yourself, but the last month you have been lacking your normal confidence. April helps you re-discover your confidence and adds a double espresso shot of passion to it.

If you aren’t in a relationship, and you might even be thinking you are going to take a break and just wait and see, well this could be interesting. Expect the unexpected, Leo, because Venus (the planet of Love) might have different plans for you mid-month. If you are attached, the bedroom may just be your favorite room in the house and you won’t be sleeping much either. Just be careful because with passion and love also comes fertility.

By middle to end of April there will be some travel opportunities which will be able to help you in future career endeavors. It’s getting good, Leo!

Virgo – August 23 – September 22

April is all about getting ahead in business. The Sun, Mars, Venus and Uranus are trying to focus you on career opportunities and advancements. You may decide to start your own consulting business or sign up for school, whatever it is the month of April is about taking chances and focusing on the future instead of mulling over the past.

Just because the love life may be a bit stagnant this month, don’t waste your time psycho analyzing why it isn’t spicier. You will get your chance to heat it up, Virgo. Life is going to continue to grow where you focus, just be cautious of trying to row your boat against the current. There are so many possibilities that are in front of you and it would serve you best to take the baton and start running instead of running around looking for a better baton.

Libra – September 23 – October 22

April is huge month for you, Libra! Not only will there be career opportunities that will happen this month, with a possibility of a raise or a promotion, but your love life this month looks comfortable and settled. And any new business ventures has signs of success written all over it.

For those single, April is a great month to hang out with friends and take yourself out of your normal comfortable zone. Let people know you are looking for that one. For those in a relationship, you will be able to recommit your feelings to one another with honesty. There is the possibility for those who desire a child, that there could be a pregnancy this month.

Scorpio – October 23 – November 21

April begins with your work keeping you on your toes, so much that you may be feeling frustrated when you it feels like it’s been forever since you were able to spend any time with friends, family, and not to mention your love life, which has been a bit stale. Mid-April brings the planet of Love, Venus, into your house of couples and although work isn’t necessarily calming, you will find a brief but much needed balance.

With Venus, the middle to the end of the month also brings potential new job opportunities and new love opportunities. Be cautious of arguments and betrayals at the end of April, though. As your light will shine bright, there will be many who will be trying to extinguish it. In all honesty, Scorpio, you have decided that this is the year of YOU, and rightfully so. The last several years you have been working hard in all aspects of your life and it has made you feel a tad bit forgotten. April brings some things to a head from the past that needs to be taken out with the garbage. After that job is said and done, all categories of your life begins to open up for the better. See what patience gets you?

Sagittarius – November 22 – December 21

April brings out the nostalgic and sentimental side of you, Sag. There may be a wedding or pregnancy announcement from someone close to you (and maybe even you) that happens this month. Normally a tough cookie, this will get the happy tears flowing. For those not in a relationship and feeling frustrated, this month may make you fall into a victim role of ‘it will never happen for me’ so be careful because that is exactly what you will receive. This month is about believing in yourself and taking the means of action to make it happen. Sometimes life is a game of chance and all you have to do is roll the dice. This month is all about taking that gamble, but on yourself.

There will be some unexpected career opportunities that come up and they show you signing contracts by end of April. Just watch that you don’t take on more than you can handle.

Capricorn – December 22 – January 19

April’s theme for you is all about the home, Cap. This month has you contemplating moving or renovating, and it also has you thinking more in the sense of practicality and responsibility. If in a relationship, this month is best spent staying at home, maybe trying out new recipes and possibly even doing some painting. It can still be sexy, Cap, so don’t think that it’s all about work! As for those single, this month you may feel more like a hermit and not necessarily wanting to go out meet anybody new. That’s okay! Don’t force what you don’t feel. Take this month off, Capricorn, because I think you are just resting up for some fun filled days and nights in future months!

Aquarius – January 20 – February 18

Sometimes you are afraid to express yourself, Aquarius, but April brings you a new found ability to communicate honestly and authentically. Those in a partnership will be able to gently let their partner know how they feel, both good and bad, and begin to work on past issues. Those still looking for love, will find their voice and be honest with themselves which will aid in the ability to find that true and good partnership instead of accepting whomever into their life (which has been the case the last few years).

This ability to vocalize will also be beneficial for work. So if you are looking for a new job or career opportunity, this is an excellent time to start actively pursuing and asserting yourself. After all, this is your life, Aquarius, don’t you deserve the prime rib instead of Hamburger Helper?

Pisces – February 19 – March 20

This month, Pisces, is about money and finances. You can be sort of funny with money, Pisces. Those born in February tend to overspend, which while those born in March tend to be more cautious. No matter your financial trends, Pisces, this month is all about partnering with others on creative endeavors to make future money. It could be a real estate investment opportunity like flipping houses, or a consultant gig, or a book idea that you have. Dream big this month, Pisces, because there are some awesome opportunities that you can take advantage of if you put yourself out there.

As for love, you might meet someone on the job or with a new endeavor, or you might partner with your already love interest on a business idea.
