Trump Shows Support for ‘Women’s March’ While Also Expertly Trolling Them 2018-01-22T16:20:38-05:00 Martha English

The Women’s March over the weekend got much praise and adoration from the Main Stream Media, eager to embarrass President Donald Trump, to show support for abortion rights, and to bring more attention to the #MeToo movement. People all across the nation met in groups, the largest of which was in Washington, D.C. This is the second annual Women’s March. Here’s a photo from the Lincoln Memorial:

Trump had an amazing response to the marchers. “Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March,” he tweeted. “Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years!”
Here’s the tweet, which even earned praise from Trump’s harshest critics:
Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March. Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years!

The beauty of the tweet is that it encouraged women to march and brought them back to the reality that they have it really good in this amazing country. (And, natch, he drew attention to his own accomplishments over the past year.)
The Women’s March official mission is stated on their website:
The mission of Women’s March is to harness the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change. Women’s March is a women-led movement providing intersectional education on a diverse range of issues and creating entry points for new grassroots activists & organizers to engage in their local communities through trainings, outreach programs and events. Women’s March is committed to dismantling systems of oppression through nonviolent resistance and building inclusive structures guided by self-determination, dignity and respect.
Many pro-life women have noted that they are less than welcome in this gathering that is supposed to celebrate “diverse women.” Others suggested that it would be amazing if Melania or Ivanka Trump showed up to the march. Of course, had they done that, the marchers would’ve freaked out — which proves they aren’t about “diverse women” but rather women who believe the exact same as they do.
