Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
by Kathleen O’Keefe-Kanavos
Yet, for those of you who are out there searching, there is hope.~ James Redfield, author of The Celestine Prophecy
Believing in Miracles during a time when God is being shoved into the broom closet while technology and science try to rule the world can be challenging. We discussed this worldwide trending topic in the previous Patheos Vlog (Video-Blog) titled Miracles During COVID. In this vlog, we pick up the discussion with three new authors who share their stories of miracles. Here is the link to the previous Patheos VLOG on Above and Beyond the 5 Senses for your reading and viewing pleasure.

Perhaps technology and science are miracle-gifts from a Higher Power gifted to give us hope during these tough times.
Don’t worship the gift.
Do miracles still happen? As part of Universal Oneness and Quantum Entanglement, we all share things in common, such as pain, grief, triumph, hope, and YES- even miracles. Miracles are God’s reminder that in our darkest hour, all is not lost, so don’t lose hope.
God never gives up on us- even when we give up all hope on Him.
What commonality do Rev. Ariel Patricia, Radio Show Owner/CEO Deborah Beauvais, and publisher Teresa Velardi share? Sacred Stories of Mayhem to Miracles that will make you cry and laugh until your mind, body, and spirit heal.
Please join us and find healing and hope in their words.
The guests have all been in the three-book Sacred Stories Series sharing their gut-wrenching true self-actualizing stories of love-loss, physical and emotional abuse, and moving through the storm clouds into the sunlight of a fulfilled life. Their stories in VIDEO are available for your viewing pleasure at the bottom of this V-Article. Have a box of tissues close at hand as you watch.
Miracles know no limits. Embracing this new thought reality based on ancient beliefs may chip away at your heart and profoundly show that miracles are still happening in our everyday lives. We must not give up hope.
Dreaming Healing guest Rev. Ariel Patricia (https://sacredstories.com ) says, “Some people in spiritual circles will tell you that hope is a four-letter word of the worst kind. To be hopeful or to hope for something, they say, means that you are not spiritual—because saying the word ‘hope’ implies you don’t have a deep enough faith or knowing in a Universe that supports you.” Rev. Ariel shares her insights during the interview.
In Rev. Ariel’s Mayhem to Miracles story titled Wounds, she writes about how her life wasn’t perfect, “but as life does, it continued. I was becoming more and more confused as to what my feelings were toward my husband… I started to feel trapped in my marriage.” So many of us experience this kind of relationship storm.
Rev. Ariel’s uplifting insight shares the miracle within her marriage mayhem.
In guest Deborah Beauvais’s (https://dreamvisions7radio.com/) story, A Mother’s Mission to Save Her Child, Deborah writes, “Sometimes in our dysfunctional relationship, I kept a low profile; other times I spoke up. Sometimes it didn’t matter. The abuse would come either way.” Then Deborah did something that began her miracle. “I would imagine what the future would look like for my child.” She decided she wanted a better life for her child where abuse was not the norm, and her miracle began to grow in the fertile muck and mire of the mayhem.
When shift happens, mayhem happens. Mayhem is fertile ground for miracles.
Despite the two stories Teresa Velardi (http://www.webebookspublishing.com/) wrote in the first two Scared Stories Series about her physical abuse and rape, she still had a heart full of love for this third book, Mayhem to Miracles. In her story titled A Little Glimpse of Heaven, she wrote, “Mom’s time on earth was coming to an end…I caught a glimpse of Heaven in my dying mother’s eyes. A Miracle!”
Losing a loved one is heart-breaking. The longer we live, the more it happens.
Knowing other deceased family members are preparing a “Homecoming Party” for our loved ones gives us peace of mind and heart. We can let them go with love knowing love is something we can take with us and that eventually, we will all meet and be together again. Love is the GPS that guides us home.
In my story, The Face On the Pillow, by Kathleen O’Keefe-Kanavos (https://kathleenokeefekanavos.com/ ), glimpses of the future love of our life can happen in dreams. Mine occurred in 1st grade and miraculously came true years later when I was an adult at a Sadie Hawkins Day Party. The Face On The Pillow walked into the party, and the rest is history. God did not send me the perfect man.
God sent the perfect man for me. The man of my dreams was my future husband- The Face On The Pillow.
The guest’s stories show how there is always a miracle in the mayhem. Our miracle is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It happens after the storm clouds have parted and the sun begins to shine. We just have to search for it. And hope is the glue that binds us individually and as a collective unit to keep us resilient.
We all have a Sacred Story or two filled with hope and a miracle.
Sharing them with other people still in the storm of life gives them hope for a better day. Hope is the magic elixir that can transform life’s troubles into a sense of grace and meaning. So never hold back. Share your story and lift someone’s spirits while your story heals their heart.
Please enjoy your show. Click the link.
