Choice is the heart of life. It is primal and binary. Spirituality is enshrouded in choice. To believe or not to believe…now, that is the question of choice. You are making one right now by choosing to read this spiritual VLOG on how to make correct choices. Did you just get a brain cramp? Shake it off and keep reading.

My guest on the Kat Kanavos Show featured in this VIDEO-Blog posted at the end of this VLOG, is Rico Racosky, who believes all life is choice that happens at the speed of choice—a perspective he recently shared at Harvard University as an author, choice expert, thought leader, and guest speaker to Harvard Business School’s Entrepreneurship Clubs.

His concept, which became the book Just 2 Choices, was “an accidental discovery.”

While working with primarily 4th and 5th gradersfor nearly twenty years on his days offfrom flying commercial airlines, Rico found himself frequently saying, “…there are Just 2 Choices of action. One choice will take you closer to your dreams and goals… the other choice will take you farther away.

Which choice of action will you take?”

After repeating “Just 2 Choices” all those years to the children, Rico thought the phrase would have great applicability to working with grown-ups.

So he literally “wrote the book on choice”—a book that’s entirely dedicated to and pioneers the topic of choice in a visual format.

Whether at the controls of a F16 jet fighter—or now at the controls of a sophisticated jet airliner, pilot Rico Racosky knows that every flight choice he makes is only based on one of two choices.

Yes! It is that simple.

Many people find they are stuck in their lives and cannot move forward for a number of reasons which leads to Frustration. Frustration can lead to depression which can result in making the same bad choices or ignoring a good choice when it is presented because of the fear associated with change.

What keeps most people stuck is failing to make Conscious YES Choices, thus allowing their default choice—the NO choice, the one representing the “same old choice” –to continue to run their lives over and over every day.

The two types of people in this world are the Yes? people, and the NO! people. Which one are you?

Case in point:

While lunching with a group of business women, one of them asked two ladies in the group, “Would you like to be on my telesummit to share your message of dreams and spirituality?” One woman immediately said, “Yes!” The other decided to think about it and get back to the woman later.

This was intriguing because I knew neither woman could meet the email requirements, sales package requirements, or necessary professional press kit for the event.

“Why did you choose to say no?” I asked the first woman.

“Because I’m not sure I’m ready to do a telesummit. I know I need to start doing them but not now….”
