There is almost always a point in the process of illness where logic, reason, and medical expertise fail. It’s at this point a patient slips through the cracks, sometimes never to recover. The same can be said for any life-crisis including bereavement, divorce and financial ruin.

In her healing process, Kat used intuition and dreams to self-advocate a course of treatment, “often against the vehement advice of my doctors.” She always worked with physicians, but never forgot to self-advocate and make the final decisions. She hopes her story can help others make better decisions in life. She uses all 6 of her senses to keep herself healthy, happy and financially secure to this day.”

TALKING POINTS/QUESTIONS EXPLORED IN THE DREAM TELESUMMIT:

Q1.) Kathy, your story about how dreams and intuition saved your life twice, possibly three times, and you credit this survival with information imparted through dreams, meditations and prayer.

A.) Yes, my physician within came to my rescue when the medical community and the tests on which they rely missed my breast cancers three times. There is almost always a point in the process of crisis and illness where logic, reason, and medical expertise fail. It’s at this point a person can slip through the cracks of life, often never to recover.

However, I found that we hold all the answers to our well-being. We only need to learn how to access them. Dreams are keys. My story is about finding and accessing those correct answers through our innate intuition that can be in the form of dreams, meditation and answers to prayer.

Q2.) How can your story about surviving cancer be helpful to others who are not ill?

A.) My story uses illness as the vehicle to transport a much bigger message: Standing in Our Power and Speaking Our Truth in the face of adversity to fulfill our Life Purpose. Dreams can help us accomplish this. Everything that is alive dreams. At 16 weeks ultrasound has shown that a fetus displays REM-Rapid Eye Movement. REM tracks objects in a dream. The fetus is dreaming. This information begs the question; what is a fetus without life experiences dreaming?

Q3.) How does this information about dreams translate to current times and difficult situations during times such as these?

A) I heard an interesting statement on the TV show the X-Files: Dreams are answers to questions we haven’t yet figured out how to ask.

We are born dreamers; fetus. Dreams connect us to our Guardian Angels, Spirit-guides and the “other side” for answers and guidance before we know we need it. My story proves that:

• Dreams do come true, and can help us live a better life. Stand in that truth.

• We can live our dreams for a more fulfilling life. Stand in your power.

• Believe but validate. Your will not insult your Higher Power with validation. Stand in your truth.

• Miracles are a daily, or in my case nightly, occurrence. Look for them. Stand in their power.

Q4.) In your book SURVIVING CANCERLAND: The Intuitive Aspects of Healing you wrote about many validated prophetic dreams such as The Clowns, and the 3 Crabs. Share with us your Feather Dream; how you stood in your power and spoke your truth in the face of extreme adversity using an imaginary angel feather given to you by a spirit guide in a dream- to save your life.

A) Sometimes science can only go so far and then comes a Higher Power. Our innate intuition is directly attached to that higher power. By learning our personal dream language, taught to us by our inner-Freud, Physician-within, Spirit-guides and experience, we can fulfill our life destiny.

My 3 physicals, blood tests and mammograms over a three month period had come back healthy and negative for cancer but my recurrent prophetic dreams told me I had breast cancer. I could feel the lump, but no one else could. After being told that I was healthy and to go home for the third time, I had a prophetic dream I named: The White Feather- A spirit guide stepped into my dream, told me I had breast cancer, handed me a feather and told me to immediately return to my doctor, without making an appointment, and ask for exploratory surgery. If I used the feather from my dream as a sward to fence with against his arguments, I would win.

I returned to my doctor the next day, imagined holding the feather in my fingers and convinced him to do exploratory surgery. A cancerous lump was found.

Q.) 4.)Did you work with your doctors to find and cure your cancer or did you only use dreams and alternative medicine?

A.) I always worked with my doctors but never forgot that I must make the final decisions with which I could live. I believe in mixing modern treatment with spiritual healing for a medicine that is bigger than the sum of its individual parts. Prophetic/Guided Dreams, which were validated by additional conventional tests and surgery, were a big part of this mixture.

Q.) 5.)What if a listener can’t remember their dreams? How are dreams different and what steps can they take to help them remember?
