Kathy O’Keefe Kanavos survived cancer twice by listening to her intuition. Despite the fact that all the medical tests conducted by her doctors at Dana Farber showed no sign of cancer, Kathy’s intuition and dreams told her otherwise. Because of her un-daunting belief in her ‘physician within,’ Kathy refused to take no for an answer and finally received an exploratory surgery that confirmed she did, in fact, have a stage 2 breast cancer.

Five years later, after having been declared cancer free, she began getting the same intuitive hits. Once again, standard tests found nothing until the MRI she had to beg to get uncovered a stage 4 breast cancer.

Kathy shares her insights in how to heed you inner physician, navigate a sometimes near-sighted medical system, and make the best use of both conventional and alternative therapies while overcoming illness.

“My first cancer was stage 2, the second was stage 4. The chances of my dreams finding cancer missed by “state of the art medical tests” twice is as lucky as winning the lottery two times in a row. Luck had little to do with it. Paranormal and Divine intervention did. When we are in crisis, we are never alone! We have spirit guides and guardian angels. Their job is to help us fulfill our destiny which I refer to as Our Celestial Game-Plan.

There are many forks in the road of life. Our spiritual guides are with us every step of the way to keep us on the right path. They impart wisdom through dreams, meditations and prayers.

We often forget that we are not humans having a spiritual experience. We are infinite spirits in a finite body having a human experience. Overcoming crisis is part of the experience of planet earth. Our extra-terrestrial spirit is in but not of the earth. Our inner-ET uses dreams, prayers and meditations to phone home. And someone on the other side always answers.

I survived by self-advocating and used something many in the medical field do not even acknowledge as being real, My innate intuition- Female Instinct, Psyche-within! When our instincts conflict with conventional science/testing in the fight against cancer/illness, what can you do to get the treatment you know you need to survive?
Don’t take “No” for an answer.
Don’t be dismissed.
Be the squeaky wheel until you are heard.
And learn to play and win at the Hospital Policy Game. Your life may depend on it. ”
